The Napo Wildlife Center is the best alternative of spending time in both the jungle and in a luxury Amazonian ecolodge. This ecotourism initiative will conserve approximately 82 square miles of the most immaculate Amazon Rain Forest within the Yasuni National Park, an essential Biosphere Reserve, and Ecuador’s greatest tract of tropical rainforest. The Napo Wildlife Center Lodge is located by Aangucocha Lake, in the distinctive ancient land of the Anangu Kichwa Community, and they maintain this tourism project on their own venture, with support from the Tropical Nature Conservation System, supplying income to they’re own local families.
The Napo Wildlife Center lodge has a capacity for up to 50 people and consists of 12 ample and comfortable standard cabins and 8 suites, being 20 cabins in total. The cabins are distributed by suites. Doubles and triple rooms- Each cabin is fully equipped with electricity, hot-water showers, private bathrooms, a balcony and a security box for those in need of one. The lodge also includes a big, luxury dining and lounge area where travelers can spend their time. Some of the tours the Napo Wildlife Center provides are a Yasuni jungle tour, Yasuni birding tour and Culture adventures.

Day 1: Flight takes off from Quito and takes 30 minutes to reach Coca. A box lunch will be provided for you to eat as you ride along the Napo River for about 4 hours after landing on a motor boat. You might spot different endemic animal species along the way, including toucans, parrots, and even macaws. arriving at the inn in the late afternoon.
Day 2: You start off your morning with a trip to the parrot clay licks, where you can watch a variety of parrot species (including Amazon-Mealy, blue headed, and orange cheek, among others) land on the ground to eat the minerals found in the clay. To learn about the Kichwa Community of Aangu’s culture and traditions, you will later embark on a brief hike there. We then take a hike through a Terra-firme forest to a second parrot clay lick after this activity. After dinner, you’ll paddle back to the lodge to rest.
Day 3: Following an early breakfast buffet, we travel to the 36-meter-high canopy tower, which is tucked away in the forest. Here, you can see a variety of birds, including tanagers, macaws, toucans, flycatchers, and even spider or howler monkeys in the nearby trees. For a lunch that is typical of Ecuador, head back to the lodge. a free afternoon. In the late afternoon, we go on a hike through a magnificent terra-firme forest to learn about the ecosystem of a tropical rainforest and see wildlife. Explore the nearby creeks after the hike. A meal and a nap.
Day 4: Early departure from the lodge and return to Coca City, where you will catch a flight back to Quito, via canoe along the Napo River.

We then take a quick hike to the clay lick used by cobalt-winged parakeets. At the lodge for lunch. Visit the interpretation center later in the afternoon to see the Kichwa Community of Aangu’s traditions. Dinner at the lodge after your return.
Day 4: The day should begin with a stroll through the Tiputini Path inside the rainforest where you can look for mammals like golden mantled tamarins, capuchin and squirrel monkeys. The second option is to drive to the Tiputini River and take a motor canoe ride into Aangu Territory after navigating through Pompeya town on the Napo River. After lunch and a free afternoon, return to the lodge.
Day 5: A motorized canoe ride along the Napo River is taken early in the morning from the lodge back to Coca City, where you will catch a flight back to Quito.

Day 5: Take a stroll inside the rain forest’s Tiputini path to start the day. The second option is to travel through the Napo River until Pompeya Town, at which point you can drive to the Tiputini River and board a motorized canoe to travel to the Aangu Territory. Visit the Waorani community “Guiyero” in the afternoon to get a feel for the local way of life. Navigate the Tiputini River in the late afternoon to look for caimans and gray dolphins. Come back to the camp for dinner at the end of the day.

You will take a walk to the 40-meter observation tower in the afternoon to view various bird species. The last stop on your journey is a second observation tower in Kury Muyo. The hotel will provide dinner.
